I like Daniel Grahme, Jarvis Moss, and Javon Walker...but is there really any reason to have the bracketed info in Marcus Thomas dude?

That's you. I have another player, Elvis Dumervil, rated 79 yet ranked in the top ten in sacks and thus should be 90+ next year. But by your logic he's only worth a 4th and some change as well.

I can turn that around and say thats you as well.

Dumervil is decent but he doesnt get 13 sacks or something in a year. he gets maybe 8 or 9. and nobody goes from a 79 to a 90 in one year let alone in 5 years. This is madden dude....a video game, not reality.

And in reality Dumervil had 12.5 sacks along with 3-4 FF's causing many people to consider him as an elite DE. So in reality he will be 90+ next year which when doing trades and such on here the player's predicted rating next year is a major factor. Now if you would kindly stop posting pointless discussion in my trade thread it would be much appreciated.

That makes zero sense, especially when taking into consideration we are NOT updating rosters. If you would kindly stop trying to take people for suckers that would be much appreciated to dude.

I agree with Purple, what the hell does next years rating mean for this past year's game? I mean, sure he did well in real life, but that's not influencing madden, a video game... I would understand that Dumervil is good at getting sacks, but the argument is flawed.

What are you two having a hard time understanding? Dumervil's real life performance WILL POSITIVELY AFFECT his rating NEXT YEAR. Which means he is worth more than your average player rated 79 overall. Another example would be Adrian Peterson at 85 overall and you're not making a fuss about him now are you? It's pretty simple and I still am curious as to why you're making such a big deal out of it and basically telling me I'm "taking people for suckers" which I will not stand for. All were saying is that this is Madden 08, were not switching to like Madden 09 lol. So it really makes no damn sense as to why your asking for like a 90 + ovr player for a 79 rated DE or trying to sucker people into giving you more then whats even close for a 76 DT in Marcus Thomas. Their young with potential in their own respects, but not worth even close to what your telling poeple. By the way, how does a players rating in next years game have any bearing on this years?

Current list of Defensive Line players. As you can see, being 90 plus means you are very good, and have been consistent. Maybe Dumervil will be 90, but I honestly doubt it. I believe that the BEST they would give him would be 88, and that's being generous.
